Philosophy of FTEXT

Even one generation ago, it was painstaking to produce textbooks that contained complicated symbols, such as sigma (Σ) or integral sign (∫). But in recent years, the emergence of softwares that can type mathematical symbols and other free composition softwares [TeX] has allowed educators to type and create texts of mathematics with ease.

Complicated procedures to calculate and graph complex functions and equations has been made easy by the use of computers, and designing three dimensional figures with shadows is now able to be done by most people. Also, videos and animations have currently been implemented in education.

Not only are these advancements in computer technology used as academic scores, but also in digital art, presentation tools, computer based music composition, as well as in business and science.

Beyond the efficiency in today's world through technology, people's thinking process in the scenes of creative work has been also altered. Even with only text-editor, the time of "writing after thinking" has shifted to "writing while thinking" in today's world of a new wording and writing process.

What one activity in an area established a traditional creative working place has been revolutionized by the introduction of a computer-based working and a thinking space for people. Although this importance does not deserve a broadcast on TV, this revolution is surely an evident change in the globalized world today.

However, this advancement in technology may be just a preparation for the future networking community.

Currently, our computers have many invaluable devices and softwares for our workspace. Out of all the software and devices, we would like to focus on the existence of a free software. Mentioning free software, there are many, such as file compress-decompress software, image editing software, developing environment, or even OS. Even though these softwares do not equal the quality of purchased softwares, one is able to make use by effectively using these free softwares.

These softwares are not just developed randomly. The softwares are developed by people's opinions and their desire to want something greater in creating a software. To say with some exaggeration, people's effort is put into solving a problem by making them clearer. This would take more than a day, but, if not, a whole culture to change.

I find a new possibility in sharing a common problem, not in an individual's strenuous effort.

Communication over network and the sharing of each individual's strength have enabled people to develop what was thought impossible by one's effort. One of the famous human's accomplishments through this process is the free operating system, Linux.

In our opinion, intelligence cooperation is not only limited to software on computers.

My vision I can have right now, because of the days of digital text and intelligence cooperation through networking, is to use this FTEXT to create a creative toy in which everyone's intellects and talents are concentrated into one point.
